RETURN TO INDEX OF MEETINGS
Minutes - 5th August, 2003

At the 5th August meeting of the club, there were 19 members present along with 2 guests.

New members voted on and accepted were Jerry KA0YUZ, Lynn KB3KAW and Gordon AB3AX.

NG3F reported that the Level 1 Emergency training class had finished, with 4 members qualifying. He will be having a "table top" emergency drill on Sept 6 at the Career Link Building, Selinsgrove. All are invited to participate.

A number of people at the 911 center would like to have a license class in the near future. It would have to be done all in one weekend because of their work schedules. With this in mind, it was agreed that the club purchase the ARRL training videos at $150.

W3JJL proposed forming an Equipment Committee, to be responsible for justifing to the club members any proposed new purchases of equipment. Following the agreement of the meeting, the committee was selected as NG3F, K3ARR, N3CVQ and WA3NLA.

It was agreed that Gordon, AB3AX, take over as Webmaster for the club's Website. The existing site was not being updated on a regular basis.

To accommodate large turnouts at future meetings, it was agreed that the Club purchase an appropriate number of folding tables and chairs.
