RETURN TO INDEX OF MEETINGS
Minutes - 2nd August, 2005

On August 2nd the regularly scheduled meeting of the SVARC was held at the clubhouse with 14 members present.

The treasurer reported on the current financial situation.

Repeater Report: 82-WN3v reported that the new cavities had been installed with much impovement. Output power has been raised to 50 watts out of the "cans". 18-working good 27-working good.

NG3F-reported that new operating consoles were available at the Snyder County 911 center and wold be installed that weekend. The old consoles can be moved to the clubhouse to replace the one table in the back.

WB3HML reminded us of the Cancer Walk coming up in 2006 at Susquehanna U., he'll keep in touch with walk organizers to see what communications they will require.

K3SI- reporte d that there is a three element triband beam available from Dale K3TRK, in Hamilton just for the effort of taking it down.

KA3BVJ-Dennis reported he will be having a demonstration station at the Rebuck Church Festival on Aug 6th.

WB3HML- 50-50 drawing took in $8.00 that was won by Marv who donated his winnings back to the club.

K3MD- John gave a very good presentation on the art of successful contesting.
