Meeting was called to order by President W3JJL at 7:30 P.M. Tuesday July 6th with 13 members present.

Minutes of the June meeting were approved as read.

Treasurers report:
Motion to accept NG3F Second N3CVQ Passed

Motion to reimburse N3XJY for food expenses for Field Day NG3F Second N3CVQ Passed

New Member Todd Mace motion to accept carried

Field Day was held on the grounds of the Selinsgrove Center. A tremendous effort by our CW operators took our club score to a new level. H.F. operations were carried out on 2 stations and VHF/UHF was run on 1. A good time was had by all. A hats off to N3XJY, KA3PYZ and KB3KAW for a fine effort in feeding the group. Thanks also to the Selinsgrove Center and Snyder County Emergency services for allowing us the use of the site. Plans will be put together for next year, possibly at the same site. Thank you to all whom helped setup and teardown, plus who had fun and operated.

Communications: Technician Class will be held Sept. 17th, 18th, and 19th at the Careerlink building at Selinsgrove.

Offer was made for the club to operate from an Adams county site. The body declined the offer.

K3ARR, W3JJL and N3JIW have assumed the upkeep roles for the 146.820 and 147.18 repeaters. WB3HML, NG3F and AB3AX will be assisting. NR3U will be consulting with the team and is in charge of the digital side of things.

W3JJL presented a plan to get the machines up and running. There will be many changes in the near future, so please be patient. If you hear or experience any problems, let one of the team know. Try to identify the cause as well as you can. The first part of the plan is to reinstall the original antenna that has the pattern that we want. At the same time the club has authorized the replacement of the feedline that is now on the tower. A motion to do that was made by NR3U and seconded by N3XJY and passed by the body. After that is accomplished, we can move forward with the other improvements and troubleshooting. The 440 node on the Water towers will be relocated to the .18 tower. Several problems were identified and hopefully corrected on the .18 machine. Several more improvements are in store for it too. Finally when we figure out what is needed at .82 to get the APRS back up and running it will be done. So get on and use the repeaters, if you do we may well get the bugs worked out faster. Also we will need several control operators for the repeaters, if you are interested contact us.

A motion to reimburse W3JJL for parts needed to get the repeaters repaired was made by NR3U and seconded by N3JIW it was passed. Further details can be had by contacting W3JJL or any of the team. A work detail for .820 is planned for the morning of the 17th. Breakfast at Perkins at 8 A.M.

A motion to reimburse W3JJL for gas and fuel for field day was made by NG3F and seconded by N3CVQ. It carried.

The club picnic is on the 7th of August at the Shamokin Dam recreation area at 4 P.M. If you need further details ask N3XJY or any officer.

For the Good of the Club: A lively discussion was held on a variety of topics related to the repeaters and digital operations of the club

Motion to adjourn: AJ3D Sec: NG3F unanimous at 9:30 P.M.
Respectfully submitted: John Lamb W3JJL
