Minutes - 1st June, 2004

On June 1st the regular meeting of the SVARC was held at the clubhouse with 15 members present.

The treasurer's report was read and accepted.

K3ARR report on the 27 repeater athat the antenna was replace with a new Hustler and new brackets. Also it was necessary to replace thepower supply.

N3JIW reported from NR3U on the 82 machine that the antenna may be replaced sometime in June while the tower crew is there. The antenna needs to be sanded and given a coat of clearcoat prior to be installed on the tower.

He also reported on the 18 machine that the interference problem seems to be soming from a microwave system but it needs to be localized yet.

Activities: Kids Day at the Mall- needs more info before June 19th, set up at 7AM.
Milton Tomato Festival-2 Saturdays in September, nothing firm on this yet, we need more info from their end.
Field Day Planning session on the 15th.

Power Supply- power supply was purchased from the estate of John N3VTE and we are still looking for the matching power supply for the Yaesu 747 if possible.

50-50 drawing -the total take was $11.00 and was won by John KA3PYZ who returned his winnings to the club.

VE Testing - the Bloomsburg club will be doing their own testing at the Hamfest this year, that's June 12th.

BPL - Motion made to accumulate funds until the years end , including 50-50 drawing and personal donations. Forwarding of funds to the ARRL will be sent in in September and at years end. vote 14yea/1nay

Don't forget Feid Day the last weekend of the month. everyone is invited to lend a hand or operate.
